On Family
Between wedding activities (engagement party, wedding dress shopping), holidays (mother’s day, father’s day), vacations, and random trips, I’ve spent more time with my family this summer than most summers in the recent past. There used be a time when hanging with the family meant I was missing out on hanging out with my friends. Over the last few years something has shifted....

Double Wedding Weekend Recap
I think I’m finally recovered enough from this weekend to write a short, belated recap. Ben and I had two weddings to attend this weekend and boy was it exhausting. Super fun but exhausting. First we headed a little north of Boston to see two of our friends, Molly & Tom, from college (go stags!) tie the knot at the Willowdale Estate in Topsfield. Our college crew really likes to...

Recently Read: New York The Novel
I read all 800 and something pages of this in eight days (perks of commuting?) so yeah, it was very good. Starting in the 1660s and ending in the 2000s, New York tells the history of New York City through many generations of families, from Dutch and English Settlers to Italian and Irish immigrants. An absolutely great read if you enjoy historial fiction and love New York.  (image via Amazon)
