Today on Gilt City!
J. Crew Factory seems to always have a promo going but just in case…
This Weekend: Shop. Shop. Shop
For the last two years, I’ve taken a day off to help my granny with her holiday shopping. It’s always fun but very tiring. That woman can shop.
This year, my sister and mom were able to join us. We met at Palisades Mall and got some serious holiday shopping done. It’s no Mall of America but that place is pretty huge.
Some photos showcasing my favorite women being exactly themselves.
For example, Jane (my mom) loves talking with her hands, Granny love Jesus so we stopped to look at the nativity, I like rolling my eyes at my mother, and Kerry likes to take candid photos of it all happening:

This is a classic Jane hand gesture:

Granny likes sitting while watching us shop. Jane really loves her clogs. We also all call it “Lord & Taylors” because that’s what Granny has called the store her entire life.

We also like to pose in front of large trees and take tourist photos in the mall.

Jane will probably make me delete this. LOVE YOU MOM!
Weekend Wishlist
Waiting for Ben to come home with Mexican food (yum!) has me online window shopping. This whole unemployment thing is making me want all the things because I can’t have them. I’m currently coveting…

1. Gap Cowlneck (that we all seem to coveting today)
3. UO Cardigan
5. Ombre Tights
While Ben and I were at dinner Friday night on Greenwich Ave, (in Greenwich, CT not Manhattan) I saw a girl wearing the most perfect pink shirtdress. She walked by twice and I was so tempted to jump from our table and go ask her where she got it. I didn’t but I’m pretty sure this number from J.Crew was it. I mean, I have to have it, right?
I have to have a pair of these. But what color!?!
